The Comprehensive Cardiology Unit (UICAR) is responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in Western countries, despite the advances made in recent years in the understanding and control of cardiovascular risk factors. For this reason, early and accurate diagnosis is essential for providing appropriate treatment. The purpose of this website is to inform the public and healthcare professionals about the work of UICAR.
