I am Dr. Cristian Iborra, responsible for the Hospitalization Unit, Outpatient Consultations and non-invasive tests at the UICAR.
What is the Hospitalization Unit?
It is the area intended for the care of patients with any cardiac ailment admitted to the Hospital. Medical assistance is provided by Cardiologists with extensive clinical experience and covers 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.
Attention is paid to all cardiac pathologies, both acute and chronic decompensated, and continuous cardiac monitoring (telemetry) monitored by the ICU is available.
What is the area of Outpatient Consultations and non-invasive tests?
This is the healthcare area dedicated to caring for cardiac problems, symptoms and pathologies on an outpatient basis. It ranges from general Cardiology consultations to more specialized consultations: Congenital Heart Disease, Arrhythmias, Ischemic Heart Disease, Heart Failure, Valvular Pathology...
Additionally, the preoperative electrocardiogram circuit is included in which all electrocardiograms prior to surgery are evaluated by a Cardiologist.
In this area, stress tests (ergometry), echocardiograms (we have high-end equipment with 3D images for complex pathologies) and Cardiac Rehabilitation exercise programs are also carried out, with all health safety measures in place. to the COVID 19 pandemic
