Dr. Alejandro Domarco Manrique

I am Dr. Alejandro Domarco Manrique, pediatric cardiologist at the Comprehensive Cardiology Unit.

Graduated in Medicine from the University of Alcalá, I developed my specialized health training at the Gregorio Marañón General University Hospital (HGUGM) in Madrid in Pediatrics and specific areas, completing my training with super-specialization in Pediatric Cardiology at said center.

I currently carry out my activity as a pediatric cardiologist at the Niño Jesús Hospital in Madrid, a center with extensive experience in Cardio-oncology, cardiological alterations in eating disorders and, in general, in pediatric patients with complex pathology, and in the Children's Heart Area of the Gregorio Marañón General University Hospital, national reference center for congenital heart diseases and familial cardiomyopathies, as part of the care of patients with acute cardiological pathology.

Likewise, I have carried out part of my healthcare activity in the area of Pediatric Emergencies after completing my training, and also as a researcher associated with the Pediatric Cardiology Group of the Foundation for Biomedical Research of the HGUGM.

By joining the team of the Comprehensive Cardiology Unit as a pediatric cardiologist, I try to contribute to the comprehensive approach to pediatric patients with congenital and/or acquired heart disease during childhood, from birth to adolescence.
