The Comprehensive Cardiology Unit of the La Luz University Hospital has renewed the accreditation of its Arrhythmia Unit awarded by the Heart Rhythm Association of the Spanish Society of Cardiology (SEC), a recognition that once again endorses the excellence of care, the quality of its processes and the commitment of the team to continuous improvement in the care of patients with heart rhythm disorders.
The renewal of this accreditation was achieved after the successful completion of the evaluation process for the SEC's Heart Rhythm Association Accreditation Program. The Unit passed an external audit and the evaluation of the submitted documentation, receiving a favorable audit report.
Subsequently, the Accreditation Committee of the Heart Rhythm Association of the Spanish Society of Cardiology analyzed both the audit report and all the documentation provided and agreed to favorably report the accreditation renewal file, having verified compliance with all the criteria and quality standards established in the program.
As a result of this process, the Arrhythmia Unit of the La Luz University Hospital maintains its accreditation for the period 2026-2028 , with a validity of three years, reaffirming its position as a highly specialized unit in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias.
