The Comprehensive Cardiology Unit (UICAR) will be present at the VI Cardiology Resident Orientation Day , which will be held on February 12, 2026 , from 17:00 p.m. to 19:30 p.m. , an initiative organized by the Young Cardiologists Group of the Spanish Society of Cardiology (SEC).

Representing UICAR, Dr. Roberto Martín Reyes , head of the Comprehensive Cardiology Unit department , will participate as a speaker in the block dedicated to "Life after the MIR ," addressing the panel entitled "I want to explore the private route . "
During his presentation, Dr. Martín Reyes will share his professional experience and offer a practical view on the opportunities, challenges and perspectives of practicing cardiology in the private sector, providing valuable information for residents in the final stage of their training.
A day to guide future cardiologists
The day is aimed at cardiology residents and is structured in two main blocks: a first part focused on the end of residency and the different job and training options, and a second part dedicated to subspecialty panels, with the participation of young cardiologists from different areas.
This meeting aims to provide first-hand information , answer frequently asked questions at the end of residency, and help future specialists make key decisions about their professional development.
