UICAR present at the 5th edition of Lambre Live Week 2025

The Comprehensive Cardiology Unit (UICAR) has had a prominent participation in the 5th edition of Lambre Live Week (LLW 2025) , an international event of reference in the percutaneous treatment of left atrial appendage closure, held from October 20 to 23 in different hospitals in Spain and Europe.

The meeting, coordinated by renowned specialists such as Dr. Ignacio Cruz González and Dr. Ana Laffond, brought together top-level experts to discuss and participate in live clinical cases, sharing advances in devices and innovative techniques for structural interventional cardiology.

The program moderators included two UICAR specialists:

Dr. Felipe Hernández , who acted as moderator during the session on Monday, October 20 , at the Regional University Hospital of Malaga – Carlos Haya, in a block of clinical cases with LAMBRE devices.

Dr. Jorge Palazuelos , head of the Hemodynamics and Interventional Cardiology Unit at UICAR, moderated a session on Tuesday, October 21 , dedicated to 3D models and left atrial appendage closure planning, contributing his experience in the field of advanced cardiac imaging.

Their participation reaffirms UICAR's commitment to continuing education, innovation, and international collaboration in the field of interventional cardiology.

Lambre Live Week is thus consolidating itself as a forum of excellence where clinical experience and technology combine to improve results in the treatment of arrhythmias and the prevention of cardioembolic stroke.
