Training and experience

My name is Patricia Barrio, I am a cardiologist, subspecialized in the imaging area. 

Training and experience in cardiac CT angiography, Magnetic Resonance, advanced 3D echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography and valve disease.

Accredited by the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI).

Teaching and research activity

I have participated as a teacher in cardiac CT, cardiac MRI and echocardiography courses accredited by the Spanish Society of Cardiology. I have been an instructor in multiple accredited basic life support and advanced life support courses. Member of professional and scientific societies, among which are the Spanish and European Society of Cardiology and the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging.

I participate in the publication of scientific articles and in research projects in the area of ​​Cardiac Imaging.
