Dr. Laura Lorena Espinosa

I am Dr. Laura Espinosa, a clinical cardiologist trained at the 12 de Octubre University Hospital (Madrid, Spain), a national reference center for cardiovascular disease. I currently head the Heart Failure Unit at Quirónsalud Sur Hospital (Alcorcón), and coordinate the Cardiorenal Unit at UICAR, dedicated to the comprehensive management of patients with cardiac and renal comorbidities.

My clinical practice focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of heart failure, with a special interest in therapeutic optimization, continuity of care, and collaborative management with other specialties to improve patients' prognosis and quality of life.

I actively collaborate in multidisciplinary projects and in the implementation of innovative healthcare strategies, aimed at both improving clinical outcomes and the efficiency of the healthcare system.
