Dr. Giselle Sosa García

I am Dr. Giselle Sosa García, a cardiologist from UICAR, a Cuban doctor whose medical degree was validated in Spain, specializing in Cardiology and Comprehensive General or Family Medicine, graduated from the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Havana, with extensive experience in heart failure, ischemic heart disease, valvular pathology, diseases of the aorta and pericardium.

What are Cardiology Consultations in these Health Centers? 

These are outpatient consultations providing medical assistance to patients with cardiovascular diseases and those at cardiovascular risk, adhering to all necessary health and safety measures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. During these consultations, non-invasive studies (ECG, TTE, Holter monitor, ABPM) are performed, enabling the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of cardiovascular diseases at centers near your home, thus avoiding travel to distant areas. From the consultation, we coordinate invasive (coronary angiography, electrophysiological studies), minimally invasive (coronary CT angiography, cardiac MRI), or non-invasive (ergometry, TTE) hospital cardiovascular studies.
