I am Dr. Pedro Luis Talavera Calle, UICAR Cardiologist, Head of Service at the Quironsalud SUR Hospital in Alcorcon, participating in patient care in hospitalization, outpatient consultations, non-invasive tests and implantation of electronic cardiac devices.

The Inpatient Unit provides care to patients with any cardiac condition admitted to the hospital. Medical assistance is provided by highly experienced cardiologists and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The Outpatient Consultations and non-invasive tests area is the care area dedicated to caring for cardiac problems, symptoms and pathologies on an outpatient basis. It ranges from general Cardiology consultations to more specialized consultations: Congenital Heart Disease, Arrhythmias, Ischemic Heart Disease, Heart Failure, Valvular Pathology...

Additionally, the preoperative electrocardiogram circuit is included in which all electrocardiograms prior to surgery are evaluated by a Cardiologist.

In this area, stress tests (ergometry), echocardiograms (we have high-end equipment with 3D images for complex pathologies) and Cardiac Rehabilitation exercise programs are also carried out, with all health safety measures in place. to the COVID 19 pandemic
