Specialty in the field of Cardiology:
- More than thirty years of care experience in outpatient consultation and hospitalization in the areas of General Cardiology, Acute Cardiovascular Care and Secondary Prevention in Ischemic Heart Disease and Vascular Risk.
- Broad command of the main non-invasive diagnostic techniques: Electrocardiography (ECG), 2D-Doppler-Color Echocardiography (transthoracic and transesophageal), conventional stress test, stress echocardiography and ECG and blood pressure Holter (ABPM).
Research, training and teaching activity:
- Development of research activity in more than forty multicenter randomized clinical trials and funded and unfunded research projects.
- Author of more than fifty scientific publications in national and international indexed and non-indexed journals, book chapters, monographs and scientific communications at national and international conferences related to the specialty of Cardiology.
- Participation in more than seventy courses and presentations accredited by the National Health System (SNS), universities and official organizations.
- Teaching clinical collaborator of the Department of Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine of the UAM from 2003 to the present (4th and 6th year students).
- Postgraduate training at MIR in Cardiology and other medical specialties at the La Paz University Hospital from 1997 to the present.
