I am Oscar Salvador, clinical cardiologist and clinical and invasive arrhythmologist.

As part of the Comprehensive Cardiology Unit (UICAR) team, my job is to attend to clinical cardiology consultations, and especially to problems related to both fast and slow arrhythmias.

First, in consultations, through the wide range of tests that we can perform at the UICAR, our objective is to reach the most precise diagnosis possible of your problem and, once typified, decide the best management, both invasive and clinical, both curative and disease control. chronic pathology. To do this, follow-up can be carried out in consultations, an invasive procedure for the diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmias can be carried out (with a view to being curative if possible) and, if required, pacemaker implantation in different modalities (conventional, physiological , resynchronizer, defibrillator).

As a personal experience to be able to perform these procedures, I have worked as an electrophysiologist (arrhythmologist) in several hospitals, coordinating the Arrhythmia unit of second level centers.
