Endovenous Pacemaker Placement
Implantation of cardiac stimulation devices to treat slow rhythms (pacemaker) or improve the contractile function of the heart (resynchronizing pacemaker).
To do this, under local anesthesia and superficial sedation, we take electrodes through the subclavian vein, in the region of the chest under the clavicle, to the heart (imperceptibly for the patient) that are connected to the generator that remains subcutaneous in the pectoral region.
