Last Friday, January 21, health counselor of the Community of Madrid and the Mayor of Torrejón de Ardoz, Ignacio Vázquez Casavilla, Quironsalud Valle del Henares Hospital was inaugurated
The head of the UICAR department , Roberto Martín Reyes , accompanied them to visit the hospital facilities and, specifically, the Cardiology service and the new hybrid operating room of this new Quironsalud Valle del Henares Hospital.
About Quironsalud Valle del Henares Hospital
The Hospital has a building dedicated to Outpatient Consultations , with the main medical and surgical specialties, attended by professionals of recognized prestige and experience: 16 medical specialties and 13 surgical specialties spread across 50 fully equipped consultation rooms with their respective diagnostic testing cabinets for high-resolution circuits.
It also features a modern Diagnostic Imaging service , equipped with MRI, CT, mammography with tomosynthesis, ultrasound, and conventional X-ray. And a comprehensive Clinical Analysis Laboratory with extended hours for sample collection .
Facilities of the Quironsalud Valle del Henares Hospital
The facilities are completed with 66 single rooms , all of them exterior; a complete surgical area , with 6 operating rooms and a Hemodynamics Room ; a delivery area , with 3 labor, delivery and recovery units (LDRU), one of which is equipped with a bathtub for dilation, and a multifunctional room for workshops and childbirth preparation courses.
Adult Intensive Care Unit with 6 positions, 2 of them enabled for respiratory isolation.
Neonatal Care Unit with 7 positions, one of which is enabled for isolation.
Surgical Day Hospital with 10 individual stalls with toilet.
Rehabilitation area with a gym equipped with 5 individual treatment boxes and a general treatment area.
Endoscopy Unit with 2 rooms and 4 individual recovery boxes.
General and pediatric emergency service 24 hours/365 days.
The new hospital is located a 10-minute drive from the center of Torrejón de Ardoz, at Avenida de la Constitución 249 , next to the roundabout with the airplane statue. It is easily accessible from the A2 motorway, the Renfe train station (Soto del Henares station), and has bus stops nearby for lines 223, 224, 824, and L1. There is also a taxi rank right outside the hospital entrance and ample parking for private vehicles.
