From October 4 to 6, 2024, the city of Guayaquil hosted the V Inter-American Congress on Cardiovascular Prevention , a crucial event organized by the Inter-American Society of Cardiology (SIAC) in conjunction with the Ecuadorian Society of Cardiology. This congress brought together leading specialists from the region to address the latest advances in the prevention and management of cardiovascular diseases.
Dr. Roberto Martín Reyes , head of the Comprehensive Cardiology Unit , actively participated in this event, where he was nominated to join the SIAC Prevent board . During his presentations, Dr. Martín Reyes shared his extensive experience in areas such as cardiometabolic syndrome and heart failure with reduced ejection fraction, introducing new therapeutic approaches aimed at improving patient care.
