Dr. Díaz Carretero joins both the Hospital, located in Torrejón, and the Quirónsalud Valle del Henares Medical Center, located in Alcalá.
The Cardiology Service of the Quirónsalud Valle del Henares Hospital , led by Dr. Roberto Martín Reyes, has recently added Dr. Lorenzo Díaz Carretero to its staff.
Dr. Díaz Carretero has been a cardiology specialist since 1995, graduated from the University of Havana, with primarily clinical training and an expert in echocardiography with the European Accreditation of Transthoracic Echocardiography of Adults, obtained by the European Society of Echocardiography in Lyon 2008.
He also has extensive experience in cardiopediatrics and congenital heart diseases and has provided professional services in several Spanish university hospitals over the last 22 years.
As the expert highlights, "cardiovascular prevention must be put into efforts, especially in addressing cardiovascular risk factors such as tobacco, high blood pressure, diabetes and obesity, as well as the need to attend early to a cardiology service in the presence of symptoms such as chest pain, palpitations, dizziness, loss of consciousness, shortness of breath during routine exertion and fluid retention. Likewise in the face of the discovery, often by chance, of high blood pressure levels, although this elevation has not produced symptoms."
