Your Telemonitoring project in Cardiology, recognized as Best Project in Telemedicine
The Mediforum Group, publishing company of SaluDigital.es, presented this Wednesday the awards that recognize the best technological initiatives that have contributed to improving the health and lives of people. More than 300 people have been present at this IV Edition held at the Cofares Group headquarters.
The event was chaired by the Health Minister of the Community of Madrid, Enrique Ruiz Escudero, and was attended by numerous personalities from the health sector, including the CEO of the Mediforum Group, Juan Blanco.
For the fourth consecutive year, the initiatives that during 2019 have contributed to improving the health and lives of people through health technology have been recognized and awarded.
This has been the case of Dr. Roberto Martín Reyes, head of the Clinical and Interventional Cardiology Service at La Luz Hospital, who has received from the Health Minister of the Community of Madrid the award for Best Project in Telemedicine for his tool, created through the Quirónsalud Patient Portal, called Cardiovascular Risk, a daily task assigned to the patient in which they can remotely fill out and submit data on blood pressure, heart rate, weight and even their analytical variables, without the need to go to the hospital.

Currently this system is used in the La Luz Hospital and the Quironsalud Sur Hospital, and more than 150 patients have been included to date.
Other award categories have been Best Public Initiative in Digital Health, Best Private Initiative, Best Health App and Best Medicine App, Best Health Blog, Best Project in the Development Phase, the only award financially endowed with 2.000 euros to continue. with its development, Digital Figure of the Year and Digital Institution of the Year 2020.
