Jorge Palazuelos, head of the Hemodynamics and Interventional Cardiology Unit at UICAR, participated in the “ 9th Wroclaw Calcified Lesions. Advanced Workshop and 4th Euro4C Meeting ” held in Poland on January 12 and 13.
At this European meeting on plaque modification in coronary lesions in high-risk patients, very interesting topics were discussed, such as the new consensus document for the approach to calcified lesions, which generated a lot of debate and the UICAR doctor was a speaker.
It was attended by illustrious figures from the world of cardiology such as the president of the European Society of Interventional Cardiology (EAPCI) Emanuele Barbato, the president of Euro4C Krzyzstof Reczuch and a panel of European experts in the field among many others.
It took place both in person and online and in the last session that Dr. Palazuelos presented, more than 500 people were present online throughout the session.
