eCardio is the Virtual Congress of the Spanish Society of Cardiology , held from February 13th to 16th, 2023. It has become a classic event in Spanish cardiology. It is aimed at all healthcare professionals with an interest in cardiology and cardiovascular prevention.
Different topics have been addressed such as heart failure, arrhythmias, vascular risk and ischemic heart disease among others.
The head of the UICAR department , Roberto Martín Reyes, discussed current issues in ischemic heart disease, summarizing clinical trials from 2020-2022 focused on cardiovascular prevention, the management of complex patients, and new drugs.
He shared a round table with doctors Pablo Jorge Pérez , cardiologist at the University Hospital Complex of the Canary Islands (Tenerife) and Albert Ariza Solé from the University Hospital of Bellvitge (Barcelona) who was the moderator.
