Held at the La Luz University Hospital the I Theoretical and practical course echocardiography in valvular diseases and aortopathies
In the search for excellence in medical care and in line with our unwavering commitment to our patients, the Comprehensive Cardiology Unit has successfully organized the first theoretical-practical course on echocardiography in valvular diseases and aortopathies.
Valvular heart disease, a group of disorders affecting the heart valves, presents significant challenges in diagnosis and treatment due to the complexity of cardiac blood flow. Recognizing the critical importance of accurate echocardiography in this field, the Valvular Heart Disease Unit of the Cardiology Department at La Luz University Hospital has organized this course to strengthen the skills of the technicians who collaborate with us daily in performing these studies.
During the course, fundamental concepts in valvular heart disease were consolidated, providing a didactic review of the theoretical foundations. Emphasis was placed on imaging real patients with common valvular diseases such as aortic stenosis and mitral regurgitation. Furthermore, the importance of correct measurement of parameters and interpretation of results was highlighted for the preparation of complete reports that provide essential information to the clinical cardiologist.
This course represents an important milestone in our ongoing commitment to excellence in cardiac care. By investing in echocardiography training and development, we are ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care possible.
