Next Wednesday, June 11, 2025 , the La Luz University Hospital will host the II Echocardiography Course in Valvular and Aortic Diseases , organized by the Valvular Disease Unit and the Cardiac Imaging Unit of the Comprehensive Cardiology Unit
This course, aimed at radiodiagnostic technicians specializing in echocardiography , aims to offer practical and advanced training in the acquisition, evaluation and interpretation of echocardiographic images applied to valvular and aortopathies.

A theoretical-practical approach
The program is structured in two complementary blocks:
Theoretical session (15:30 p.m. – 17:30 p.m.):
Key topics will be addressed, such as aortic and mitral stenosis and regurgitation, mixed valvular heart disease, evaluation of prosthetic valves, and the importance of post-processing and anatomical quantification in clinical practice.
Practical workshop (17:30 p.m. – 19:30 p.m.):
Participants will work in small groups on image post-processing, interpretation, and hemodynamic calculations, with special emphasis on the key elements for an accurate and complete clinical report.
