The Comprehensive Cardiology Unit continues to strengthen its presence at major international scientific forums through the active participation of its professionals. In this context, Dr. Jorge Palazuelos, head of the Interventional Cardiology and Hemodynamics Unit, was part of the faculty at the international conference. EDGE PCI 1.0, held on April 20 and 21, 2026 in Amsterdam.

This event, organized by the University Hospitals of Amsterdam (Amsterdam UMC), brings together international experts in complex coronary intervention and constitutes a platform of excellence for addressing the most advanced techniques in coronary angioplasty (PCI).

Dr. Palazuelos has played a prominent role in various formats within the scientific program. He has participated as a speaker in specialized sessions, as well as being a panelist in high-level clinical debates and a member of the group of invited international experts.

Among his interventions, his participation as Faculty at the session on advances in TAVIwhere she contributed to the analysis of complex cases alongside other international specialists. She also participated as a speaker in the “Learn from the Masters” session, addressing key aspects of optimizing access in structural procedures.

The congress was attended by leading specialists from Europe, Asia, and other countries, solidifying its position as a forum for the exchange of knowledge in advanced interventional cardiology techniques.
