Since that first procedure, the unit has experienced remarkable growth, establishing itself as a leading center for structural heart techniques and interventional cardiology . This progress has been made possible by the coordinated work of a highly qualified multidisciplinary team, committed to offering patients the most advanced and safe therapies.
Dr. Jorge Palazuelos , head of the Hemodynamics and Interventional Cardiology Unit , has played a key role in the development and implementation of these procedures, leading technological and clinical innovation in the field. Meanwhile, Dr. Roberto Martín Reyes , Head of the Comprehensive Cardiology Unit, has promoted a strategic vision focused on excellence, research, and humanizing patient care.
